Licensing

WingCinema offers a variety of pre-licensed films for public exhibition, offering you a simple, effective, and legal way to host your own Movie Event. As you may already know, unauthorized public showings of films violates U.S. copyright law and blanket licensing, such as that provided by CVLI, does not include any WingCinema films.

Each WingCinema Movie Event Kit contains the following:

• Exhibition DVD or digital download of the film
• Site License (see standard terms and conditions, below)
• Downloadable resources (poster, tickets, bulletin insert, discussion guide)
• Downloadable film clips and trailer

Standard Terms and Conditions of the Site License:

1. Licensee shall not require payment for admission to showings of the Film,
provided, however, Licensee, as a non-profit organization, may request a
suggested donation for admission to showings for fund raising purposes.

2. Licensee shall conduct all showings of the Film only at its own
facilities or at facilities procured by Licensee for showings in its community.

3. Licensee shall not sell, rent or loan the Film to any third party.

4. Licensee shall use the DVD or digital download in the Movie Event Kit for all showings of the Film.

5. Licensee shall not edit or abridge the Film in any way.

6. Licensee shall not duplicate the Film for any purpose.

7. Licensee shall not conduct any television or Internet transmission or other
exhibition of the Film or permit any third party to do so.

8. Licensee may reproduce and use all downloadable promotional materials to
advertise and promote showings of the Film, however, Licensee shall not make
changes to the artwork provided on the promotional materials, other than to add
the Licensee’s identity and contact information, and the locations, dates and
times of showings of the Film.

9. Licensee shall secure its possession of the DVD or digital download of the Film to reasonably prevent it from being misappropriated, misused or unlawfully copied.
